Your Family's Well-being Matters

If your family has been affected by a catastrophic personal injury, don't face this challenging situation alone. Please reach out to us today.

Time tip: We know that it takes time to recover from injuries, or the loss of a loved one. It is, however, important that you speak to a lawyer as soon as you can regarding your potential claim as there are deadlines (called “statutes of limitation”) that impact your ability to have your claim properly evaluated and filed. For example, in some states, an injured party must file a medical malpractice claim within two years of the date of the injury or death. There are limited exceptions, but they are not automatic and are ultimately subject to judicial discretion.

Our clients’ daughter incurred multiple subdural hematomas and cerebellar injuries requiring resuscitation at birth and developed hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) that caused her to experience strokes and seizures. Our investigation revealed that the degree of force used by staff at the hospital was never documented in the records; rather it was documented in text messages between staff. She has permanent neurological injuries and is developmentally delayed as a result.
  • Secured a seven-figure settlement on behalf of a child who suffered from hypoxic injury during childbirth.
  • Obtained a six-figure settlement on behalf of a widow whose husband died after a delay in diagnosis of a bowel obstruction following surgery.

The VA providers did not establish an airway, administer appropriate medications, supply adequate oxygen, nor timely respond to our client.
  • We successfully settled, for the full amount of our demand, a matter on behalf of a patient whose gynecological cancer was not properly diagnosed and thereafter metastasized. Our allegations included that the doctor at the veterans’ facility failed to perform a thorough exam, biopsy, follow care, or even referral to a gynecologic oncologist which caused a five-month delay in diagnosis and therapy.

  • We represented clients in a nationwide MDL (multi-district litigation) arising from hearing loss from defective combat earplugs.
  • Represented 120 plaintiffs in hard-fought litigation against a local gas provider and apartment management company following a massive building explosion. Following a years-long NTSB investigation into the cause of the explosion and further litigation against the defendants, the parties reached a final settlement in 2020. Bailey Glasser partnered with CASA, a community group that advocates for Latino and immigrant people, to achieve justice for those killed, harmed, and displaced.
  • In Massachusetts, our litigation team secured a $143 million settlement for residents of the Merrimack Valley devastated by explosions and fires caused by Columbia Gas pipeline leaks.  Our representation included successfully coordinating a dozen class actions, persuading Columbia Gas to mediate rather than litigate, and negotiated a global resolution, which helped in restoring the affected communities.
