
Overview
Panida Anderson is a litigator and a member of the firm's cutting-edge ESI Practice Group. She is a creative problem-solver and is unafraid of leveraging technology to tackle complex discovery projects. Panida brings client-centered advocacy to her legal strategy and negotiations with other parties. She advises clients on best practices in e-discovery collection, preservation, and document review management and production, as well as legal questions concerning privileged communications.
Panida’s litigation experience spans a wide variety of subject matters. At Bailey Glasser, she litigates class action and mass tort cases, with a focus on consumer protection. Her clients have sued large oil and gas companies, pharmaceutical companies, and big tech. Prior to joining the firm, Panida represented clients in complex commercial litigation, securities investigations, and data breach litigation. She is also a skilled ethics attorney, having represented attorneys charged with disciplinary misconduct and sued attorneys for legal malpractice.
Panida has experience representing criminal defendants in state and federal courts in Maryland, Alaska, D.C. and other jurisdictions. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants, Panida brings a breadth of experience in fighting for the rights of consumers who she represents.
Panida is the past President of the national Thai American Bar Association (TABA), comprised of practicing attorneys of Thai descent or those who are supportive of the Thai-American legal community. TABA facilitates legal professional development, increases access to legal services for the greater Thai community, and fosters relationships with other legal organizations.
Panida worked as a law clerk at the Alaska Court of Appeals with Judge Tracey B. Wollenberg and Judge John Suddock. While in law school, Panida represented criminal defendants charged with misdemeanors, parole revocations, and those applying for clemency as part of the Georgetown Criminal Defense & Prisoner Advocacy Clinic. She also interned in the probate division with D.C. Superior Court Judge Gerald I. Fisher. She also held internships with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender in Rockville, Maryland, and the Alaska Public Defender Agency in Bethel, Alaska.
Panida is fluent in Thai. She is admitted to practice in New York, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Alaska.
