Bailey Glasser Partners Named to 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America
Bailey & Glasser, LLP partners Brian A. Glasser, Katherine E. Charonko, Cary Joshi, and David L. Selby II have been named to the 2026 Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America list. This recognition honors the nation’s most accomplished courtroom advocates and highlights the firm’s ongoing success in complex litigation, mass torts, appellate advocacy, and e-discovery.
Brian A. Glasser – Founding Partner
Founding partner Brian A. Glasser has been recognized for the third consecutive year as a Top 500 Litigator in America. He has also been recognized by Lawdragon in multiple guides including 500 Leading Civil Rights & Plaintiff Employment Lawyers, 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers, and 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers. In 2025, Brian co-led the trial team representing the Coalition of Counsel for Justice in Talc Claimants in defeating Johnson & Johnson’s third “Texas Two-Step” bankruptcy attempt. Over his career, Brian has tried cases in 18 states, including four mass actions and six class actions and his work has helped thousands of individuals harmed by talc baby powder, toxic chemicals, and defective combat earplugs. He has been Chambers-ranked (Band 1) for 22 years, and Forbes Media has named him one of the “Top 200 Lawyers in America” and “Best-in-State” in its inaugural lawyer rankings.
Katherine E. Charonko – Electronically Stored Information (ESI) Practice Group Leader
Katherine (Kate) Charonko leads the firm’s Electronically Stored Information Practice Group, where she oversees e-discovery in disputes involving billions of documents. She holds the Certified e-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) credential, a global standard of excellence in the field. Kate serves as liaison counsel for e-Discovery and ESI on multiple multidistrict litigation (MDL) leadership committees nationwide. This year, Kate was a member of the Bailey Glasser trial team named Law360’s “Legal Lions of the Week” for defeating Johnson & Johnson’s proposed $10 billion talc bankruptcy plan. In addition, Kate has been recognized in Chambers & Partners and included in the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers guide.
Cary Joshi – Commercial & Environmental Litigation Practice Group Leader
Cary Joshi, leader of the firm’s Commercial & Environmental Litigation Practice Group and based in Washington, D.C., directs many of Bailey Glasser’s most significant cases. In 2024, she led a trial team that won a $40 million jury verdict in a federal fraud trial in Texas. Cary also heads the firm’s Title IX work representing female student-athletes across the country. This is the second year she has been named to the Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America. She was also recognized in 2025 by Lawdragon as one of its 500 Leading Civil Rights & Plaintiff Employment Lawyers and is ranked by Chambers & Partners for her litigation work.
David L. Selby II – Mass Torts Practice Group Leader
David L. Selby II leads Bailey Glasser’s nationally recognized Mass Torts practice, where he represents individuals injured by dangerous and defective products, including talc, asbestos, hernia mesh, combat earplugs, and firearms. In 2025, David was part of the trial team that defeated Johnson & Johnson’s third “Texas Two-Step” bankruptcy attempt and is also deeply involved in litigation for survivors of childhood sexual abuse in juvenile detention centers across multiple states. David previously secured a groundbreaking $239 million class action settlement against Taurus International Manufacturing over defective pistols, which the International Business Times described as a “landmark legal concession.” His work has been recognized by Chambers & Partners and by Lawdragon, which included him in its 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers, 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers, and 500 Leading Civil Rights & Plaintiff Employment Lawyers guides this year.
