Mark Boyko Quoted on ERISA 401(k) Class Action Against Edward Jones

09.06.2016

Mark Boyko of Bailey Glasser LLP has been featured in a number of articles discussing Bailey Glasser’s case against Edward Jones. Along with Greg Porter, a partner at the firm, Boyko represents employees and retirees of Edward Jones, the St. Louis based financial services company.

The case alleges that Edward Jones included high-cost mutual funds managed by its corporate partners in the employee 401(k) plan in order to benefit itself and its partners at the employees’ expense. Industry publication RIABiz wrote about the case here.

The case is pending in the Eastern District of Missouri and was recently assigned to Chief Judge Rodney Sippel.

Bailey Glasser has an extensive history representing employees harmed by excessive fees and imprudent investments in their retirement plans, including pending cases against MetLife, New York Life, TIAA-CREF, Intel, and Neuberger Berman.
