Brian Glasser Named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers

Bailey Glasser is proud to announce that Best Lawyers, a peer-review publication that surveys thousands of lawyers to determine the best by practice area in communities across the nation, has named Brian Glasser Lawyer of the Year in the Criminal Defense: White Collar practice area for Charleston, West Virginia.  Mr. Glasser, founding partner of Bailey Glasser, was also named as one of the best commercial litigators in Charleston.

The first edition of Best Lawyers in America was published in 1983. Its lists of attorneys are compiled through confidential peer review surveys of tens of thousands of leading lawyers across the nation. Mr. Glasser is a Harvard Law graduate and Rhodes Scholar. He has tried lawsuits in nine states and maintains a diverse practice.

In addition, founding partner Benjamin Bailey, also a Harvard Law graduate, was recognized in several practice areas in Charleston: Bet-the-Company Litigation, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Defense: White Collar and Product Liability Litigation: Plaintiffs. Mr. Bailey, a former federal prosecutor and counsel to the Governor of West Virginia, plays a leading role in some of the firm’s most challenging cases, including complex, multidistrict litigation.
