Lawyer Stephen Scott Joins Commercial & Environmental Litigation Group

Bailey & Glasser, LLP welcomes attorney Stephen Scott to our Washington, D.C. office. Stephen joins our national Commercial & Environmental Litigation Practice Group, where he will represent clients ranging from solo entrepreneurs to multinational corporations in high-stakes disputes in state and federal courts nationwide.

Known for his Appalachian-born grit and strategic mindset, Stephen tackles complex legal issues with precision and creativity. Stephen brings broad litigation experience spanning mass tort actions, spin-off and distribution agreements, credit reporting disputes, and construction-related matters. He has also advised clients in the emerging technology sector, including global manufacturers launching innovations such as e-bikes. His work includes counseling organizations on legal risks tied to artificial intelligence in content generation, such as visual artwork, and contributing to thought leadership on the regulatory landscape for autonomous vehicles. Stephen’s work has been recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2025-2026) in Commercial Litigation and Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions and was named to the Pittsburgh Business Times’ “30 Under 30” in 2023.

A West Virginia native, Stephen earned his undergraduate and law degrees from West Virginia University. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Stephanie D. Thacker of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
