11.23.2019

Bailey Glasser is pleased to announce on November 22, the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals affirmed the decision of the Marion County Circuit Court approving Fairmont State University’s application to begin an entry level law enforcement training academy to be offered in conjunction with their criminal studies curriculum. Bailey Glasser proudly represented Fairmont State University’s efforts before West Virginia’s highest court for oral argument on September 11, 2019 in this important matter to the university.

This positive outcome will allow Fairmont State to begin the process to offer police academy training which will permit students to become certified law enforcement officers as they earn their degrees in criminal justice and related fields. The university has worked tirelessly for several years to offer this specialized program.

Bailey Glasser Partner Rebecca Pomeroy represented Fairmont State University.
