Court approves $10 million settlement in ERISA class action

On May 12, 2014, the Court gave final approval to a $10 million settlement in the case Glass Dimensions, Inc. v. State Street Bank and Trust. Bailey Glasser partner Gregory Porter represented the named plaintiff and a class of similar retirement plans. In certifying the class, the court said “Plaintiff’s … counsel is qualified, experienced, and able to vigorously conduct the proposed litigation. … Plaintiff’s counsel has extensive experience in conducting ERISA securities class action suits, and Plaintiff’s counsel has demonstrated a thorough approach to all matters presently before the court.”
