Ben Bailey Featured on The State Journal's Decision Makers

09.12.2016

Ben Bailey was a guest on this week’s edition of The State Journal’s Decision Makers.  Bailey discussed the firm’s successful representation of HCR ManorCare in a recent trial held in Clarksburg, WV.  After a lengthy trial and half a day of deliberation, a Harrison County, West Virginia, jury cleared Heartland nursing home and its parent company HCR ManorCare Inc. of any liability in the death of an 87-year-old woman several weeks after she left the nursing home.

He also discussed the firm’s involvement in the Volkswagen diesel emissions litigation.  The initial settlement for owners of the 2-liter vehicles was given preliminary approval and is set for final approval in October.  Bailey serves on the Plaintiffs' Steering Committee.
