Bailey Glasser Welcomes Back Sallie Gilbert
Washington, DC, August 3, 2020 – The national law firm Bailey & Glasser, LLP has hired Sallie Gilbert as an associate in its Washington, DC office. Sallie represents clients in all phases of civil litigation, ranging from complex business disputes, construction matters, mass torts, and environmental law. Sallie had previously worked for Bailey Glasser for two years, during which she had been involved in some of the firm’s most consequential cases.
“We are thrilled that Sallie has returned to Bailey Glasser,” said Cary Joshi, a DC-based partner who heads the firm’s large Commercial and Environmental Litigation practice group. “Sallie's combination of sharp legal thinking, excellent judgment and work ethic are a rare combination. She goes above and beyond for our clients and is a huge asset to the firm."
Sallie first joined Bailey Glasser in 2016 after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center, where she participated in Georgetown’s Environmental Law and Policy Program and was a member of the Environmental Law Society. During law school, Sallie gained experience in energy and environmental law through internships at the American Gas Association, Occidental Petroleum Corporation, and the U.S. Department of Energy. Sallie also received a bachelor’s degree in International Business from Mississippi State University.
“Sallie is a terrific lawyer, and we’re glad to have her back as part of our growing Washington, DC office,” said Brian Glasser, the firm’s co-founder. “Recruiting and retaining the best lawyers is a firm priority, even during the COVID-19 crisis. Clients bring us their most challenging and consequential matters, and Sallie does fantastic work.”
