Bailey Glasser Adds Antitrust Lawyer Bart Cohen as Of Counsel in Philadelphia

10.25.2021

October 25, 2021 – Bart Cohen, an experienced class action and complex litigation lawyer who focuses much of his practice on federal antitrust, data breach, and other matters, has joined national law firm Bailey & Glasser, LLP as Of Counsel in its Philadelphia office.

Bart brings more than 25 years of litigation experience to the firm and is particularly skilled in matters involving the automotive industry, banking, financial services, and information technology.

“We are pleased to welcome Bart Cohen to our firm,” said Brian Glasser, the firm’s CEO and co-founder. “Bart is a first-class antitrust litigator with a long and impressive track record of successfully representing the interests of his clients. We are delighted he has joined our team in our growing Philadelphia office.”

In each of the past 10 years, Bart has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, a distinction awarded to only five percent of lawyers throughout the commonwealth. He has been rated by Legal 500 as a “very strong litigator.”

Bart is a writer, editor, and contributor to several legal publications, including Law360, the Legal Intelligencer, and publications from both the American Bar Association and Philadelphia Bar Association.

“Bart is a battle-tested, successful litigator whom we expect will hit the ground running for the firm and all our clients,” said Larry Lederer, Partner and head of the firm’s Philadelphia office.

“My years of experience have taught me the overriding importance of credibility in dealing with courts, particularly for plaintiffs who bear the burden of proving their case,” Bart said. “That is why I am scrupulously honest, in and out of court, and encourage clients to do the same. I am excited about joining Bailey Glasser at a time when the firm is growing both in Philadelphia and across the country.”

Bart holds a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center. He earned two undergraduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, from the Wharton School of Business and the School of Engineering and Applied Science.
