Kerri S. Davis

Overview

Kerri Davis is a member of our award-winning Mass Torts Practice Group, where she represents individuals and class members harmed in institutional settings or injured by the harmful conduct of corporate actors. Her work includes advocating for hundreds of childhood sexual abuse survivors across multiple states, including Maryland and Illinois.

Kerri brings more than 20 years of trial and appellate experience, having tried numerous jury cases to verdict through skillful advocacy, meticulous preparation, and deep compassion for survivors and their families. Her experience spans both sides of the courtroom, giving her a rare, balanced perspective in high-stakes litigation. Before joining Bailey Glasser, Kerri served for several years as a prosecutor for the City of St. Louis, handling some of the region’s most serious violent and sexual offense cases involving both children and adults, and later as an appellate prosecutor, authoring and arguing briefs before the Illinois Appellate Court. She also previously worked as a public defender in Madison County, Illinois, where she represented individuals accused of complex criminal offenses. Kerri now draws upon this breadth of trauma-informed representation to advocate for survivors of institutional abuse nationwide.

Kerri’s extensive trial work and lifelong commitment to justice have earned her honors, including the Award of Prosecutorial Excellence from the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis.

She earned her J.D. from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale and graduated summa cum laude from Blackburn College with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Kerri is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.
