Gregory Porter Speaking at ABA Employee Benefits Committee Meeting

On February 7, Bailey Glasser Partner Gregory Porter will speak at the American Bar Association (ABA) 2020 Employee Benefits Committee Midwinter Meeting in Rancho Mirage, California. Gregory will take part in a panel discussion titled “Fact or Fiction: Challenges to Mortality Assumptions in Calculating Alternative Forms of Benefits.”

The panelists will discuss the recent spate of class action lawsuits alleging that the use of outdated mortality tables violates Employment Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) anti‐cutback provisions and breaches trustees’ fiduciary duties.
