Keeleigh S. Huffman

Overview

Keeleigh S. Huffman is an environmental attorney and member of Bailey Glasser's Commercial and Environmental Litigation Practice Group where she develops practical, forward thinking strategies that balance business objectives with national environmental priorities, guiding clients through regulatory compliance, enforcement defense, as well as high stakes litigation and appellate advocacy. Keeleigh is equally as enthusiastic and effective in the regulatory docket as she is before the courts.

Keeleigh represents clients across the industrial and power generation sectors, translating dense environmental statutes into clear, actionable guidance. She has represented clients in major appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and in emergency stay applications before the U.S. Supreme Court, including helping secure an emergency stay of the EPA’s Good Neighbor Plan—the first of its kind under the Clean Air Act (Ohio v. EPA, 2024). Her practice also includes work on other environmental media such as water, wastewater, hazardous materials, and emerging contaminants.

Before joining Bailey Glasser, Keeleigh served as an attorney on the environmental team of a national law firm, balancing regulatory compliance and appellate matters for industrial and power generation clients nationwide. During law school, she interned with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division and the U.S. Department of Energy in the Office of the Secretary.

A proud graduate of a historically women’s college, Keeleigh draws on the confidence and leadership that environment instilled to ensure her clients’ perspectives carry weight in complex regulatory proceedings. She earned her J.D., with a concentration in Energy and Sustainable Development Law, from West Virginia University College of Law and holds a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy from Salem College.

Keeleigh is licensed in West Virginia and Texas.
