Gus Teasdale is a paralegal in the London office. Gus completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Law in 2022 and his Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in 2023. While studying he held volunteering roles at Mary Ward Legal Centre and was a Student Director with South West London Law Centres.
In his previous role at Bailey & Glasser, LLP in the United States, Gus worked as a law clerk, working primarily in litigation. In that capacity, Gus worked on the landmark case of SVB Financial Trust v Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (No. 5:24-cv-1321-BLF) — litigation arising from the FDIC's decision to place Silicon Valley Bank into receivership after the historic bank collapse. Gus contributed to fact development and legal research from the investigation stage through to the month-long, $1.7 billion trial in the Northern District of California, in which the FDIC advanced affirmative defenses grounded in agency and aider-and-abettor liability against the bank's holding company.
Gus completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law at City, University of London, then earned the Legal Practice Course Postgraduate Diploma at BPP University.
