Elazar Kosman

Overview

Elazar Kosman is a Delaware-licensed attorney in Bailey & Glasser’s Commercial & Environmental Litigation Practice Group. He represents business clients in complex corporate and commercial litigation and restructuring matters. His practice includes litigating fraud and corporate governance disputes before Delaware state and federal courts, with a particular emphasis on the Delaware Court of Chancery. Elazar advises clients across a broad range of industries and stages of development—from founders and emerging companies to established enterprises—bringing a practical, business-focused approach to each matter.

In addition to litigation, Elazar has meaningful bankruptcy and restructuring experience, representing debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, and other stakeholders in chapter 11 proceedings. His work at the intersection of litigation, restructuring, and corporate governance allows him to address legal issues with an eye toward both immediate resolution and longer-term business objectives.

Elazar is known for his thoughtful judgment, strategic perspective, and ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, workable frameworks that support efficient decision-making. He is based in Bailey & Glasser’s Wilmington, Delaware office.

Elazar earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and holds a B.A. from the Talmudic College of South Florida. During law school, he served as a law clerk with the Office of the Attorney General of Maryland and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Matthew H. Solomson of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
