Anthony G. Bruni II

Overview

Anthony G. Bruni II is a member of our nationwide Asbestos and Lung Disease legal team, focusing his practice on representing individuals who have contracted mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis, and other lung diseases caused by exposure to asbestos.

Asbestos exposure remains the leading cause of occupational cancer in the United States and continues to contribute significantly to other serious illnesses and disabilities. Litigation surrounding asbestos dates back nearly a century. Those most commonly affected include teachers, auto mechanics, military personnel, pipefitters, steamfitters, boilermakers, truck drivers, carpenters, bricklayers, factory and mill workers, power plant employees, railroad workers, and many others. Coming from a family with deep roots in these trades, and having personal experience in the building industry himself, Anthony brings a grounded, empathetic approach to securing justice for individuals and families harmed by this known carcinogen. The most common asbestos-related diseases include:

  • Mesothelioma of the Lung
  • Mesothelioma of the Stomach
  • Testicular Mesothelioma
  • Lung Cancer
  • Asbestosis
  • Pleural Plaques

Asbestos-related disease can develop in other parts of the body as well. Research has confirmed that asbestos is known to cause the following cancers, and this list is not exhaustive:

  • Colon Cancer
  • Esophageal Cancer
  • Laryngeal Cancer
  • Stomach Cancer
  • Throat Cancer

As a member of Bailey Glasser’s Asbestos and Lung Disease practice, Anthony is dedicated to obtaining justice on behalf of individuals – and their families – who have been endured unnecessary suffering as a result of this known carcinogen.

Anthony brings extensive litigation experience to Bailey & Glasser, LLP, with a background that includes personal injury, automobile and workplace fatalities, professional negligence, workplace accidents, and complex contract disputes. He has litigated cases across multiple jurisdictions, including Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, and New York, in both state and federal courts.

Before entering the legal field, Anthony began his career as a tax accountant at a Pittsburgh-based firm. He earned his J.D. from the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law, where he was active in litigation courses and moot court and interned with a judge in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.

Anthony holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Robert Morris University. He is an active member of the Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia Bar Associations.
