Patricia Mulvoy Kipnis

Trish is a litigator who has primarily practiced in the areas of product liability and radiation exposure. At her prior firm she defended a large pharmaceutical company in mass tort litigation involving an antipsychotic medication, and represented another drug company in defending its professionally labeled over-the-counter laxative product in cases around the country.

Trish has engaged in all phases of the litigation process, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, witness preparation, motion practice, legal research, brief writing, and settlements.

She has federal appellate experience through her work on a radiation exposure case pending before the Fifth Circuit, and her representation of a habeas corpus petitioner sentenced to death in Alabama. As a federal law clerk, Trish gained broad exposure to a variety of civil and criminal matters.

Trish is an active volunteer on behalf of abused and neglected children referred to the Support Center for Child Advocates in Philadelphia. Before attending law school, she was a youth librarian at the Ypsilanti District Library and a reference assistant at the University of Michigan's Taubman Medical Library.
