Jonathan is a recent addition to the firm's Charleston, West Virginia office. He returns to private law practice after spending several years as counsel to former West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin, III. A 2006 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law, Jonathan began his legal career representing corporate clients in complex litigation matters. He later left private practice for a stint in public service, serving first as Deputy General Counsel and then as General Counsel to Governor Manchin. Following the Governor's election to the United States Senate in 2010, Jonathan led Senator Manchin's transition to Washington, D.C., and served as the Senator's Chief of Staff and Senior Adviser. Jonathan has since returned to Charleston to concentrate on his legal practice.
