Christopher S. Morris
A partner in the firm, Chris is a seasoned trial attorney who focuses his practice on the litigation of business disputes and complex matters. In addition to his time spent as a federal law clerk, Chris has spent much of his career presenting cases to West Virginia state and federal juries. He maintained a solo practice and served as a county prosecutor before joining a large regional firm, which he left to join Bailey & Glasser. Chris regularly represents both defendants and plaintiffs in civil actions involving failed banks and corporations, breaches of contract and warranty, and employment matters. Chris has handled a number of civil defenses which have resulted the plaintiffs paying significant amounts to his clients, and he has experience with commercial litigation involving amounts exceeding one billion dollars.
Prior to attending law school, Chris taught English at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, Florida, and holds both a bachelors and masters degree in English.
